“They have got the best player alive, they are the best team in basketball”, Nick Wright hails Giannis Antetokounmpo ; Regards Celtics overrated after Nets clean sweep

Giannis Antetokounmp hailed by Nick Wright After Game 1

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Milwaukee Bucks to a commanding victory against Boston Celtics in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semis. It was a game to remember for Giannis as he became the first Buck’s player to record multiple triple-double in playoffs. Moreover, being without Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday and the Greek Freak’s offensive abilities were enough to seize a comfortable win for the defending champions on away turf.

Despite having the 3rd-worst shooting night of his playoff career. Nick Wright , a sports radio talk show host on Fox Sports 1’s First Things, was not short of praises for the ‘Greek Freak’. He was asked whether he was surprised or not that Milwaukee Bucks took Game 1 on ‘First Things First’ , to which he replied:

“Of course I’m not surprised the Bucks took Game 1. They’ve got the best player alive, they’re the best team in basketball, they’re going to win a title. The long tale of the Nets failure has now infected this series. It’s caused people to overrate the Celtics.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo Is currently the Best Player in The World”

Nick not only declared Giannis as the ‘Best Player in the World’ at the moment but also has his money on Bucks going all the way to win the Championship this season. He hilariously joked about everybody filing a class-action suit against the Brooklyn Nets for making Boston Celtics look like such a great team. The Nets were dysfunctional with no organized offense and no rim protection which made Boston’s job easier. This will not be the case when they go up against the mighty Bucks who appear to be on a roll, with better defensive strategies and Giannis leading the lines and Jrue Holiday putting in great performances.

” I’m going to suggest that maybe Chris Broussard can lead it, I think basketball fans, basketball gamblers and Broussard himself should file a class-action lawsuit against the Brooklyn Nets because the long tale of the Brooklyn nets failure has now infected this series because it has caused people to overrate the Boston Celtics. It has caused people to think the Celtics who are a very good team are an all-time great team because of what they did to Brooklyn, here’s the deal, Brooklyn has no rim protection, they don’t run an offense and they take terrible shots. Milwaukee has the best rim protection, they do run an offense and they take the smartest shots so even without Chris Middleton, even without Giannis playing really well, they can still handle Boston who just handled Brooklyn.”– Nick Wright

Giannis connected on just 9 of 25 shots from the field ,his third-lowest percentage in postseason games, for games in which he attempted at least 20 shots. Covering his shooting woes, he made up for it by pulling down 13 rebounds and dishing out 12 assists, earning the second playoff triple-double of his career. If things go the way they are headed, Bucks will do to Boston what Boston just did to the Nets. The Reigning Champions are looking very formidable with Giannis leading from the front, with a consecutive Finals appearance peeking over the horizon.
