Nick Young makes a strong pitch for Bronny James to play for USC Trojans

Ex-Los Angeles Lakers player Nick Young believes that NBA great LeBron James’ son Bronny James should come and join the USC basketball program. Recently, Bronny attended an Ohio State football match with his dad, where in the duo were showing their support for LeBron’s team Buckeyes.

Nick Young said, “Back home! I went there. Plus, it’s in L.A., it’s in California. Why leave and you already out here comfortable? Dad’s here. Dad can come watch you play. Mom can come watch you play.” Nick believes that Bronny should attend college, then he should join the USC program.
It will take Bronny an inch closer to fulfilling his and his father’s dream of playing together in the NBA league for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Nick Young’s idea cannot be termed wrong, because USC will be closer to Bronny’s home. Also, he would have a higher chance to play for the LA Lakers in near future. With LeBron still on the court, the chances of Bronny joining the purple and gold team can never be ruled out. It will be interesting what choices Bronny makes in his interest and betterment of his career.

Bronny James posed for a picture in an Ohio State basketball uniform during his unofficial visit to Columbus on Saturday. LeBron had reposted a photo of his son on his Instagram handle using the letters ‘O’ and ‘H’ in reference to the program’s O-H call. These photos would have got the Ohio State fans excited after seeing Bronny, son of one of the greatest NBA players taking a picture in a scarlet and grey uniform. Bronny was offered a scholarship following his visit to Columbus.
17-year-old Bronny will be eligible for the NBA draft only in 2024. Until then fans will be hoping that Bronny will choose the Buckeyes’ program for his college hoops experience. Bronny is likely to explore other professional opportunities that include famous leagues such as G-League Unite, Overtime Elite or any other overseas leagues. Bronny has also been offered scholarship programs by the Memphis and USC. It will be interesting to see what route does he choose sighting his future to play in the NBA league.
