Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets have made it to the post-season fighting with the injuries throughout their way. As they missed their primary ball-handler and guard Jamal Murray for the whole season and is still listed out but a return can be expected anytime soon. Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets are going all in and against of the Stephen Curry-led Golden State Warriors for the first round of the playoffs. The series is surely going to be a long and tough one as both the sides have answers for everything they see. The predictions had Denver Nuggets on the higher grounds but the results are unexpected as not many thought the Warriors can pull up a dub in game 1 itself.

As of now, they lead the series with a good chance of advancing but it won’t take long for the Nuggets to change the whole narrative around the game since they have Nikola Jokic as their leader so still, it’s very unpredictable since the potential is on both the sides.
Nikola Jokic in the game dropped 25 points, 6 assists, and 10 rebounds while Draymond Green and others have their heart and soul out to stop him. He even appreciated the defensive end of the Warriors as they were good to put a hold on the shorthanded offensive chain of the Nuggets. In the post-game interview after losing the game 1 to the Warriors, the reigning MVP gave away an honest and classic response to the loss.

Nikol Jokic during the post-game interview recognizing the fact that they are the underdogs and they’ll have to give their best quoted: “The pressure is not on us. We are underdogs. But we got to act like dogs and fight.” He is very right with his statement as the Dubs are an established Dynasty who has done it all many times in the past. While the Nuggets and their rosters are those underdogs who are untalked, not appreciated, and believed even though they have a chance to advance by fighting the Golden State Warriors off.
The Denver Nuggets will now play the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday in Game 2. Everyone around the Nuggets hopes that this time they really go out like dogs and get the job done. The match-up will surely be a closely contested and head-to-head one as the Joker will be throwing dimes and running the offense the way we know him for and there’s a good chance for him walking home with the MVP trophy this year too. So that adds on to it and boosts the team-up.
