If there is one player who knows how to relax and win at the same time, no one comes even close to Nikola Jokic. sure we all heard the stories of players working endlessly in gyms and courts during off-seasons, and for Jokic it’s a time to relax completely. And even after a long hard break of no training, comes back even better than last season.
In a recent interview, curious media wanted to know the interesting gameday routine of the Joker. And sure it didn’t disappoint. To the question’s response, he answered by saying:
Go home, spend time with my daughter...then play video games with my friends.Nikola Jokic to the media
And that’s enough for the MVP to drop class after class on the court. The proof is in the pudding.
We all know the Serbian loves a proper break, whether going fishing, partying, or having drinks. While the rest of the league prepares rigidly for the next season, Nikola is one of those guys who takes things lightly but comes back with an MVP-esque performance. And he has been doing that for a while with the same easy, relaxing routine.
As for this 2023 season, he has yet again been the key catalyst for the Denver Nuggets. Averaging 25.5 points per game, 11.7 rebounds per game, and 9.3 assists per game, he has yet again been one of the stand-out layers in the league. And while they currently sit 3rd in the Western Conference, it would be a big yet deedful ask for the Dnever to ask Jokic to hopefully lead them to yet another title this season.
Nikola Jokic’s unusual drinking habits during the offseason
We have heard some eyebrow-raising addictions to weird pregame meals. And Nikola Jokic has got his own. We all know the Serbian loves enjoying his break. So much so his drinking habits may surprise a few.
It was out that Jokic would drink six beers a day during the off-season, shocking many. Despite his stellar performances game after game, it is quite a surprising diet for a player who seems to be a contender for the MVP yet again. And somehow the alcohol just rather fuels him up every season.
Maybe that’s how the Serbians in the NBA do. Relax the best they can and give the best on the court that will ever be. And maybe this could also be the year for him as 2024 does look promising for the Denver Nuggets. Who knows, we could see Jokic hit Vegas yet again and enjoy it like it’s off-season all over again.
