Scottie Pippen was undeniable talent nobody could disregard from the 90s. He was one of the biggest two way players in the league and was rightfully awarded according. The former NBA Champion was recently also announced as one of the 75 players selected for the all time anniversary team.
The Chicago Bulls were the biggest team and the only the that stood in the way of others during the 90s. They dominated the league and the Michael Jordan-Scottie Pippen duo established the foundation much before the three-peat between 1995 and 1998. They had their own three-peat before becoming the greatest team of all time.
Former NBA player reveals Scottie Pippen was a try hard
As much as we would all like to believe the 90s Bulls were a product of a strong and powerful bond. But nothing could be further than the truth that this. Following the release of the documentary series “The Last Dance” which featured a whole lot of Michael Jordan and less of his teammates.
This was an accusation proposed by none other than Scottie Pippen who told the entire world that his former teammate was too proud of himself. The former All-Star revealed that his GOAT teammate tool all the credit for himself during the reign of the Bulls dynasty.
But Pippen was not much of a talker back in the day. Former NBA player Olden Polynice told Bally Sports, “It’s funny, now that he retired, he’s become a trash talker.” He further continues saying, “I remember we had one issue when he was in Portland, and It’s funny to me, I know guys in the league who are going to talk trash, guys, who are gonna fight, guys that are punks, we all knew that.”
“So, Scottie, he tried to trash-talk, but it wasn’t coming out, it just wasn’t quite right. And I’m like, dude, just let it go man. You’re not Mike, you’re not Bird or Reggie Miller. That’s not your game.” It is true Pippen is in more of a controversial period in his career right now. He has been all over the internet slamming his former teammate.
