“I destroyed him” Patrick Beverley invokes LeBron James in latest Chris Paul slander
LeBron James and Patrick Beverley
With Phoenix Suns out of the playoffs, Minnesota Timberwolves veteran Patrick Beverley is not done speaking the truth about Chris Paul. Moreover, the former had some slanderous take against his nemesis of late. And to make matters worse he added upon the same, bringing Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James also in the discussion.
Patrick Beverley went onto state how badly he destroyed Chris Paul in a camp few years ago and for validation people who have any doubts should ask LeBron James. The Minnesota Timberwolves only went onto showcase and elaborate how dearly he has owned CP3 in the past. Not only the issue raised by the Minnesota Timberwolves guard was only to support his take on how Paul had lacked offensively against the Mavericks and how badly it affected his team in the respective semi-final series.

Patrick Beverley involves the King in CP3 slander
“I got a taste of little C.P. there, destroyed him,” said the Timberwolves stud as per Jonathan Sherman of Lakers Daily. “Ask LeBron. I don’t have to lie. Ask Chris. That’s your good friend.” It is worth noting that Chris Paul has been suspiciously quiet throughout this entire ordeal. It’s been a one-way street with Beverley spewing his tirades in CP3’s direction. Paul has decided to take a high-road approach here and he’s not even giving the Timberwolves veteran the time of day.
Patrick Beverley is surely giving his audition on one hand, as an analyst. While Chris Paul has been taking lessons from his friend, LeBron to keep his calm in such matters. All his life, Bron has ignored Skip Bayless, who has condemned every game and every step the 37-year-old veteran has taken.
For CP3, the slander with Patrick Beverley is surely to take another step as they would lock horns sooner rather than later on the NBA court. Whatever might be the case, Beverley’s hot takes in the studios are making way into the headlines as the 2021-22 playoffs commence. Having had strong words, does Pat Bev’s opinion float in deep water? Remains to be seen.
