The series between the Wolves and Grizzlies have become more like a wrestling game rather than basketball. In this whole series, we have seen multiple times how the players of both teams are getting physical with each other and as the series moves forward it’s going to be more worsen. Game 4 was a slow-paced encounter between both teams as bodies were crashing in almost every possession.
Grizzlies guard Morant was already playing with a leg injury but he faced many blows during the game but succeeded to draw a flagrant foul on D’Angelo Russell as he blocked former ROTY’s head when he tried to put a poster dunk. Moreover, when we are talking about getting physical how can we forget about Patrick Beverley. In the mid of second quarter when Desmond Bane tried to shoot a long-range two, Beverly blocked him from behind and the referee called for the foul on the Wolves’ guard.
