Patrick Beverley has established himself as one of the most outspoken floor leaders throughout his career. Fans know Beverley for his seasoned locker-room presence and his ability to influence teammates and games.

This offseason, Beverley left the Chicago Bulls and joined the Philadelphia 76ers, where he immediately assumed a larger role than anticipated. However, Patrick advised to be cautious if anyone drives alone in Philadelphia.

On the Pat Bev podcast, podcaster Rone got Pat to share all of his stories. In a recent video, he talked about an incident in which he was driving through Kensington and North Philadelphia while also passing through West Philadelphia. They revealed the most fascinating information when he talked about his experience traveling through Kensington. It felt like Zombieland, where he called it.

Patrick Beverley said via PatBevPod,

Kensington that M*f felt like Chicago. West side, Chicago straight Zombie Land. Straight up, that Sh*ts crazy.

After this Rone talked about drugs and the people who use them freely in the streets. Beverley has the illusion that Chicago is more, but he calls Kensington extreme in this case.

With a one-year contract worth $3.2 veteran minimum, ‘Pat Bev’ agreed to play for Joel Embiid, the current MVP, and new coach Nick Nurse. If the Sixers decide against signing Patrick to a contract extension after the 2023–24 season, he will become an unrestricted free agent.

Patrick Beverley was once knocked down in between games when he was in high school

Along with his skill as a defender, Beverley has established himself as one of the NBA’s best trash-talkers. In a recent story, Patrick Beverley described how he used the word “b***h” in a high school pickup game that didn’t go well. The guard for the Philadelphia 76ers talked about how he got knocked out after talking smack against an adult on “The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone.”

The two-way guard claimed that after making the game-winning basket over his opponent, he continued to talk trash. “B***h” was the term he used to refer to his rival. Even though he was a high school student, the adult managed to knock him down. The guard for the Philadelphia 76ers claimed that after saying the word while playing basketball, he felt humbled.

Beverley, who is renowned for his physicality, was selected to the NBA All-Defensive Team three times. Because of his intense playing style, Patrick has been involved in several well-publicized on-court incidents. He was a significant summer addition made by the Sixers. Beverley agreed to a one-year contract to play alongside Joel Embiid, the current league MVP.
