Patrick Beverley while ‘coaching’ the Lakers, kept mentioning in the video, “If you’re guarding the ball, you have to nudge. It’s the only way you can defend a guard. To guard, don’t let him run, who said you have to let him run? Just jump in front. Make him slow down a little bit.”
The Lakers had acquired Pat Beverley to boost the roster and make a change to their fortunes. But he and all the others have failed to deliver in the two games that the team has played so far. HC Darvin Ham must find solutions to the problems as soon as possible or they’ll end up missing the playoffs once again.

He also admitted that the Lakers team is trying to make some good sh*t happen. Beverley is trying to boost the fan army here, and it’s a commendable effort from the new Lakers player.
The home crowd responded with cheers and applause, and it was clear that they were getting behind their team with a confident approach. It is one good thing that is happening right for the Lakers. The Lakers had a disastrous off-season as well. They would need to rectify their problem areas before the time runs out.
