Bill Belichick has achieved everything when it comes to having a successful career. The legendary Patriots coach has won eight Super Bowls and is one of the best defensive coaches in the history of the league. Even after spending 49 years of his life coaching football in the NFL, he sometimes sees things that make him lose his temper.
One such incident happened in the game between the New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins. The game wasn’t going too well for the New England Patriots, as they were trailing 17-3 in the third quarter. After a play where Patriots running back, Rhamondre Stevenson fell just four and a half inches short of a first down, Belichick was clearly unhappy with the officiating and threw his challenge flag on the floor in disapproval.
His challenge was unsuccessful, but the announcers made fun of the tantrum that Belichick threw on the court. Announcer Cris Collinsworth said that NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal would be proud of that flag thrown down. He said, “Shaq would have been proud of that dunk.”

Bill Belichick is one of the most legendary coaches in the history of the NFL. Every time there is a New England Patriots game, fans are glued to the screen. Even some NBA players are huge supporters of the Patriots, especially because of the dynasty they had between 2001-2019, when the legendary duo of quarterback Tom Brady and Coach Belichick made nine Super Bowl appearances and won six of them, cementing both of them as one of the greatest in their roles.
Since Brady left the game to enjoy retirement, the Patriots haven’t had the best seasons. Due to this, Coach Belichick is having a hard time recreating the same success. So, when he threw a tantrum on the field against the Dolphins in their week two matchup, it had everyone laughing, including NBA star LeBron James.LeBron posted a story on his Instagram after the incident and captioned the reel with, “Bill is hilarious on the low, man!” describing the comedy of the situation.
