Paul George and Kawhi Leonard
Safe to safe – the Los Angeles Clippers will start the 2022-23 season in full swing. Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and newcomer John Wall are poised to establish themselves as the finest squad in the NBA. Many people in the NBA see Kawhi Leonard and Paul George as the Clippers’ top finishers, but George wants to change that. After the Clippers’ game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Paul George wanted to publicly state that he is the Clippers’ number two, and Kawhi Leonard is the Clippers’ number one.

“Kawhi is number one, and I’m totally fine with it,” George said. “everybody say Kawhi and you are one and one, or 1A and 1B, I’ll publicly say I’m the two. Kawhi is the one, I’m the two. So that part we nipped in the bud. There’s no ego when it comes to that. But with that being said, I believe in my talent and what I do. I believe on any night in what I’m capable of.”
Paul George hopes to bring the championship home this season with the clippers

After all, regardless of how many All-Star players a club has, one of them needs to be the go-to guy. Paul George’s observation that Dwayne Wade and LeBron James laid aside their egos and fulfilled their duties to win a championship was a wonderful example. George and Leonard desire to accomplish the same thing in order to win their own title.
With Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and John Wall in the lineup, the Los Angeles Clippers are finally back in full force. However, based on their preseason performances thus far, it looks like they are conserving most of their energy for the regular season. Given that both Leonard and George are coming off injuries, this is most likely the case. The Los Angeles Clippers won their first game back against the Portland Trailblazers.
We didn’t see much of Kawhi Leonard or Paul George, who each played only 16 minutes. George scored 12 points, two assists, and seven rebounds, while Leonard had 11 points, two assists, and four rebounds. The star combination got off to a hot start, each nailing a three-pointer in the first quarter. The Clippers’ tandem looks to be immune to court rust. George still appears to be the lethal shooter we know and love. Leonard, on the other hand, seemed to have regained his power after slashing through opponents and finishing several difficult shots.
