“BELIEVE in what you got” Paul George shares an inspiring message post-pick-up game with NBA peers

Paul George
Paul George though suffered an injury that limited him to only 31 games. This off-season he has not been resting has he was seen at a Rico Hines workout. In the clip, the veteran can be seen talking to his fellow players from the league and where he had some inspiring words for them.

“Everybody is blessed in this environment right here to figure out who you are in this league,” George said. “Some elevate, some plateau, some don’t get better… Find your niche, but believe in what you got. Be sharp, be efficient with your dribbles, be sharp, efficient with your playmaking. Read, react, play off one another, push yourself. And challenge yourself.” He ended by urging not to be afraid of contact and being exposed, “You get exposed in front of millions,” George said. “Why not do it here?”
While a workout during the off-season is in no comparison as important as a game during the season, Paul George urged the players to not be afraid of getting exposed by a different player as it happens in a game so what does it matter if it happens during training. Paul George laid the importance of training seriously as being laid back now would have trouble later in an official setting.
