On Sunday, the LA Clippers took on the Memphis Grizzlies, regarded as the league’s weakest team. The Grizzlies defeated the Clippers 105-101, but a victory would have been the team’s first since James Harden joined. In response to the LA Clippers’ five-game losing streak, Paul George has voiced his support for his teammates.

According to Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints, Paul George stated that the Clippers must find a way to end their current five-game losing streak. Paul said:

We should be frustrated. We’re not winning games and we're trying to figure it out. We're all brothers in this locker room and times, a message has to be delivered and we have to figure out how to get over the hump.

Before the sensational trade for Harden, Los Angeles’ win-loss record was 3-2. In the Western Conference right now, the Clippers are ranked 12th.
On Saturday, the Clippers suffered their fourth straight defeat. They are the worst in the league in practically every category save steals, and they are incapable of running an offensive or defending. Although George and his team members preach about making things work and making sacrifices, they must apply those words on the court.

The Clippers’ stars all had difficulty playing the Grizzlies. George had seven turnovers but finished first on the team with 26 points. Leonard attempted 16 field goals, but only six were successful. His final stats were five rebounds and 14 points. Westbrook finished with 12 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, and 4 turnovers while only making 5 of his 13 shots attempted.

Paul George shares his story of how he met James Harden

In a recent Podcast P episode, Paul George discussed James Harden‘s arrival in Los Angeles, sharing a fascinating story about their long-standing connection. George recalled their high school days as teammates, emphasizing how he first recognized Harden’s exceptional talent. This sheds light on their strong bond from the early days.

He admired James so much that he emulated one of his moves. The play that caught his attention involved Harden receiving a full-court pass, bouncing it off the free throw line, catching it midair, putting it between his legs, and slamming it. This particular move sparked Paul’s interest in following Harden’s career.

Despite James joining the Clippers without a significant improvement, Paul George’s story highlights the potential of a young Harden. Now reunited on the same team, George is eager to witness more of these skills. Perhaps, these abilities could elevate the Clippers to greater heights.
