Paul Pierce is back in the NBA headlines and the reason this time isn’t an unreal take from his end where he is either criticizing or defending a star from the league. Instead, it’s him clowning LeBron James as the Boston Celtics recently handed the Lakers an embarrassing loss. Paul Pierce probably was the happiest spectator as he mocked LeBron James for being on the unfortunate losing end.
The game wasn’t just limited to Basketball as it was sort of a rollercoaster ride too. As it had several big-time lead changes and the game favored both the team battling for a dub at Crypto.com Arena. As many players were balling out. But the Boston Celtics bagged the win and Paul Pierce not missing the golden opportunity mocked LeBron James.
The Los Angeles Lakers came very close to winning the game but coming very close doesn’t count. They ran a successful comeback being down by 20 points but unfortunately blew up the lead and sold the game away by choking in the final moments of the game. Anthony Davis missed two very crucial free throws and LeBron James didn’t drain the three-pointer which could have had the Lakers win it all.
Them losing the game had Paul Pierce continuing his beef with LeBron James as his former team got the job done. So being present in the Arena he sent out a message for Bron. As in the viral video he is seen mocking LBJ’s signature celebration where he silences his rivals and The Truth didn’t just stop there as he also said: “That’s game, baby. Hey LeBron, that’s game.”

LeBron James, Lakers choke against the Boston Celtics
LeBron James and Anthony Davis really ran a successful comeback of 20+ points against the Boston Celtics. They also went on to have a 32-5 run but ended up blowing it all away. As the Celtics got themselves a 17-4 run in the final minutes which sent the game to overtime. Also, let’s not forget that Jayson Tatum drilled the game-tying bucket with a turnaround step-back jumper on LBJ’s head.
The stars though gave their best possible efforts from both the ends. As LeBron James dropped 33 points, caught 9 boards and dished out 9 dimes. While Anthony Davis contributed with 37 points, 3 assists and 12 rebounds. The young duo of the Celtics was the better one in the matchup. As Jaylen Brown got 25 points, 5 assists and 15 rebounds. While Jayson Tatum balled out and dropped 44 points, 6 assists and 9 rebounds.
The Los Angeles Lakers still lack finishing skills. As they were again not able to close the game against the Celtics and eventually lost it all. It’s high time for the team to start playing some winning basketball and not disappear in the final and very important minutes of the game. Or else, guys like Paul Pierce will always keep clowning LeBron James and his squad as the rivalry still continues.
