The first-round playoff series between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks is proving to be a tight contest. Both teams are playing exceptional basketball with no intentions of bowing down. However, the Knicks defended their home court well in Game 3. Jalen Brunson put up 21 points and was the leading scorer for New York in a low-scoring game. Darius Garland didn’t have the best of games, as he managed to score just 10 points. The Knicks picked up a commanding victory over the Cavaliers by 20 points. The scores were 79-99 at the end of regulation.
Garland had a rather forgetful outing in Game 3 in terms of his stat line. However, to add to his misery, he collided with a photographer who was sitting on the floor mid-game. Garland was backtracking out of bounds when he tripped over the photographer’s legs and fell down. Although the play continued, the Cavaliers guard looked in discomfort.
Darius Garland walked off the court following his clash with the photographer. The guard rested his ankle and reportedly checked to see if there was a serious injury in the area. However, after a while, he checked back in on the floor and continued playing. Luckily for him and the Cavs, the minor accident didn’t lead to a major injury or setback for the player.
How do both the Knicks and the Cavaliers look after Game 3?

The New York Knicks looked in solid touch during Game 3. They’ve been a rather impressive team throughout this season. Jalen Brunson has been a leader for New York, consistently putting up great numbers and impressive performances. His form and fitness will be important in the Knicks’ chances of progressing further in the playoffs.
On the flip side, the Cleveland Cavaliers have also been a competitive force in this series. Although they are down 2-1 after three games, writing them off for Game 4 wouldn’t be the wisest of decisions. Donovan Mitchell has been in great touch for the Cavs and will look to lead the side into their first NBA finals since 2018. Needless to say, Game 4 at Madison Square Garden promises to be an interesting encounter between these two teams. The winner of this series will take on the winner between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Miami Heat for the Conference Semi-Finals.
