PJ Tucker is undoubtedly one of the most experienced and underrated defenders in modern-day NBA. Having played alongside the best of players, his aggressive attitude can taken-out many opposition guards. With the Heat locking horns Joel Embiid’s Sixers, no one needs to elaborate upon the importance of Tucker in the defensive unit.

In Game 3 of the Heat vs Sixers semi-final series, as the going got tough for the away team at Wells Fargo Center, PJ Tucker seems to have lost his cool as he wanted to fight each and every opposition player. Be it Matisse Thybulle or Joel Embiid, Tucker simply was in no mood to back down. Watch the videos below-

Late in the fourth quarter, as the Sixers were trying to extend their lead, PJ Tucker seems to have lost his cool on young Thybulle. Similarly in another clip he seems to have got in a tangle with Tobias Harris and Joel Embiid as well.

Talking about the individual performances of marquee players, it was Jimmy Butler who was the only player who could register himself significantly on the scoring sheet with 33 points. While reigning Sixth Man of the Year, Tyler Herro scored 14 off the bench. No other Heat player managed to score in double digits. PJ Tucker was well-below-expectation as he scored only 4 points.

On the other hand, Tyrese Maxey and Danny Green led the scoring attack for Sixers with 21 points each. While Embiid and Harden scored 18 and 17 points respectively. After winning by a hefty margin of 20-points, the Sixers have well established the defensive and offensive voids of their opposition. Will they be able to elaborate upon it even further in game 4? Remains to be the main speculation. 

But for now, Joel Embiid surely was able to establish his importance in the Philadelphia 76ers’ side as his return ensured a swifter performance from the home team on either ends of the court.
