“Easily scams athletes because they don’t wear condoms” PJ Washington could have been paying $2.4 Million in child support annually to Brittany Renner

PJ Washington has always been one modern-day NBA player who has always set high expectations from himself after being picked 12th in the 2019 Draft. Given that he is one of the most fundamentally sound players for the Charlotte Hornets, he was reported to be due in paying $200k in child support every month to Brittany Renner. Yeah, the same girl he proudly announced her relationship in 2020.

Having a child together, their split did make the custody of the kid questionable. PJ Washington revealed that he was unable to meet his son until 2021. Given that NBA Twitter never shies away from supporting its players, they surely dug up the past of Renner to throw some shots at her over the same at that time.

NBA Twitter rushes to defend PJ Washington by attacking Renner’s past

Brittany Renner had casual relationships with a ton of well-known athletes. The name of infamous Nike athlete and former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick was thrown around as well. PJ Washington is being berated for his taste and choice in women given this publicly available information about Renner. In the video below, she can be heard saying, “The worst people to deal with are athletes. None of them use condoms really. So, if y’all want to try and come up off a check from a man you could just hook an athlete. They’re really dumb.”

That being said, after the initial weeks of this controversy in 2021, PJ Washington posted several updates on his own Twitter that seemed to indicate that he had in fact NO intentions of paying $2.4 million in child support annually. Even then, this did not stop fans from circulating Brittany Renner’s ‘savage’ video.

Having averaged 10.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in the 2021-22 season, Hornets would be expecting the former Kentucky star to live up to his full potential in the upcoming season. Will he play a huge role alongside LaMelo Ball to lead the team into the playoffs? Remains to be seen.
