Which compared to many other sports is quite a staggering amount. But word has spread around that the NBA players have had a discussion about getting paid even for the All-Star games. The NBA All-Star 2024 saw some big events like the Skill event, the 3-point contest, and also the grand All-Star game that everyone was waiting for. While the lackluster performance from the players had already been making headlines, their recent plan for demands has angered the fans even more.
The NBA All-Stars darling, the All-Star game between the two captains who chose their lineups has a structured payment system. Each organization receives $100,000 at the beginning, with an additional $240,000 awarded to the charity of the winning team. But despite their own salary and off-court brands and businesses, the news of the player’s discussion regarding payment has left fans in a state of anger.
