Vanessa Bryant wants the jury to know that the sheriff’s officer suspected of photographing Kobe Bryant’s helicopter crash scene was also engaged in another case involving excessive force, including reportedly knelt on a restrained inmate’s head. The L.A. County Sheriff’s Agency allegedly tried to keep the specifics of the incident from becoming public, fearing it would bring the department into shame.
