Rapper E-40 is requesting an investigation into racial bias after being removed from the Sacramento Kings v Golden State Warriors playoff matchup last night. E-40, a Black man, claims that racial profiling caused him to be escorted out during a verbal altercation with a white woman. No video evidence has been officially released but E-40’s statement is the only claim present as of now.
“I was absolutely humiliated by the Kings’ security team and I’m calling on the franchise to investigate the appalling conduct that transpired,” said E-40 in his statement after the game on Twitter. The rapper is seen being led out of the venue by security in a fan video from the venue. A number of additional staffers arrive to remove E-40 as he becomes obviously disturbed by the circumstances during his conversation with the arena staff.
No publicly accessible video of the confrontation between E-40 and the woman has been released. The woman had been heckling the entire game, the rapper claimed in a statement, so he turned around and addressed her in an “assertive but polite manner.” He did not elaborate on what he stated. After engaging in a verbal duel with the woman, Kings’ security escorted him out of the arena, at which point he became very irate.
The Sacramento Kings have not made any response to E-40’s claims as of yet

“Unfortunately, it was yet another reminder that—despite my success and accolades as a musician and entrepreneur—racial bias remains prevalent,” E-40 said in the statement. “Security noticed a dispute between a Black man and a white woman and concluded I was at blame right away,” said E-40, one of the most significant players in Bay Area rap history, who has frequently attended NBA games for years.
He was one of the most well-known Warriors supporters during the team’s depressed period and remained as the team developed into one of the most prosperous basketball franchises. The Kings haven’t said whether they intend to look into the situation. The Golden State Warriors have not commented on the situation yet despite E-40 being a regular at Warriors home games.
The Sacramento Kings will host the Golden State Warriors again on 17th April. E-40 has not stated whether he will attempt to attend the net game but has said that he hopes everyone responsible is held accountable. The racial profiling claims have not been proven yet therefore a throughout investigation will need to take place as the claims are very serious.
