NBA Central posted a video featuring a person who resembles Seth Curry smoking marijuana and using Lean online on Sunday. The account that first uploaded the video claimed the Dallas Mavericks had cut Seth Curry. The video soon gained widespread popularity. Famous American rapper Fivio Foreign tweeted about the video after it went viral. He did not realize it was a troll account and not the NBA’s main page.

The troll account posted a vid where we can see the person in the video is not Seth Curry, but the rapper seems to have himself confused. In the video caption, it was said the Mavs cut Curry after the drinking lean, and smoking marijuana incident. After the video went viral, Fivio reacted to the video. This is what he said:

 I thought the weed was legal inna NBA now ?? Wtf.. & dat ain’t lean dats medicine. bro had a cold.

This tweet reaction also gained online. Fans saw this and made a lot of fun of the rapper. Calling him “retard” and “CTE” seems to make a lot of headlines for both the rapper and the player. But Seth has yet to give any statement regarding this trolling stunt.

Last summer, Seth Curry committed to a two-year contract worth $8 million with the Dallas Mavericks. This marks his third stint with the team. Curry signed a two-year contract with the Mavs in 2016 and played for them until the second half of the 2019–20 season. After joining the NBA in 2013, the seasoned shooter is currently in his 11th season. His goal remains to assist the Dallas Mavericks in reaching the Finals for the first time since 2011.

Fans find this unsuitable after Fivio thought of the troll account of the NBA as a major account. Well, it does make sense because he almost took a shot on Seth and didn’t even know it was not real. The main part is the person behind the wheel was not even Seth, which makes this more interesting and funny at the same time.
