The NBA superstar LeBron James went viral for his pre-game rapping session last month. The star posted an Instagram story jamming to American Rapper GloRilla‘s song “Yeah Glo!” in the gym. The veteran was word-to-word rapping to the song, pleasantly surprising the original artist.

GloRilla came as a guest on Shannon Sharpe‘s Club Shay Shay. On the podcast, Sharpe asked the rapper about how she felt when LeBron James posted that story. GloRilla was certainly thrilled to get recognized by the star athlete. 

LeBron knew the words! I can watch LeBron rap songs and not know the words for real. He knew ‘Yeah Glo!’ That was good for him because he don’t be knowing songs for real.

James is famous for messing up the lyrics of rap songs. Hence, the 24-year-old was proud that LBJ knew most of the words to her song. The news reached the rapper as soon as the Los Angeles Lakers star posted the story. Being hyped by the situation, the rapper contacted her manager and attended the Lakers game on the same day.

The rapper also talked about meeting the superstar. GloRilla explained that she grew up in a sports house with her family and brothers, who were big fans of the game. Therefore, meeting James was certainly an unexpected circumstance in her life. As such, GloRilla had the unique experience of James after the NBA star rapped her lyrics on social media.

GloRilla names Kobe Bryant as her favorite basketball player

Considering the rapper grew up in a sports-oriented household, GloRilla grew up watching many American sports. On the Club Shay Shay podcast, Sharpe asked the young rapper about her GOAT in the NBA. GloRilla did not have an active player as her pick.

The star revealed that the late Kobe Bryant was her favorite player of all time. The rapper grew up watching the five-time champion. GloRilla also stated that she was a fan of the Lakers when Bryant played for them. Now, GloRilla is back following the men in gold and purple because of her second favorite player on the list, LeBron James.

The rapper highlighted that Bryant was her GOAT with James coming second. She also revealed her top 5 players list in the NBA. The rapper chose Derrick Rose, Stephen Curry, and Dwight Howard as her next favorites. It is safe to say GloRilla has a tremendous knowledge of basketball, maybe better than most celebrities.
