Paul George, the star forward for the Los Angeles Clippers, recently hosted an episode of his YouTube podcast, “Podcast P,” where he frequently invites fellow players and guests to delve into topics beyond the basketball realm. In this particular episode, he welcomed American rapper and singer Vince Staples, renowned for his role in the animated series “American Dad.”
During the podcast episode, he discussed the preview of his new Netflix show, reflected on Snoop’s influence during his upbringing in Long Beach, California, and reminisced about Miami Heat’s Jamie Jaquez‘s performance in the NBA All-Star dunk contest, among other topics. However, one particular conversation that stood out was his wild ideas for changes if he were to become the NBA Commissioner.

Vince Staples spent time roasting teams and players, all while sharing some ideas he would implement if he were made the NBA commissioner. He talked about moving the Minnesota Timberwolves out of the Western Conference, relocating teams from places fans didn’t wish to travel to, and also adding more drama, like a “wrestling element,” to the NBA. He also made reference to a hypothetical fight between Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, where Commissioner Silver sarcastically said,
LeBron stop that sh** or we coming for you!
Paul George’s “Podcast P” is designed to show another side of the Los Angeles Clippers player beyond just the basketball court and this was evident during the engaging conversation between the podcast crew and guest Vince Staples.
Paul George claps back at former team, Indiana Pacers
In a recent development, Paul George of the LA Clippers took aim at his former team, the Indiana Pacers, amidst swirling rumors connecting him to the Pacers this offseason. With a player option for the next season, George is poised to become a free agent. During a recent installment of “Podcast P with Paul George,” the nine-time All-Star delved into the period when he was traded from Indiana to the OKC Thunder. He recounted how the Pacers allegedly informed the media that he would face challenges in securing All-Star status in a highly competitive Western Conference.

He said:
Funny story is when I got from Indiana to Oklahoma, that's going from Eastern Conference to West Conference, I was told I would never make the All-Star game again going out West. It was reportedly coming from the original team I was traded from. 'Send him to the West, he won't be an All-Star in the West.' And so that did stick with me.
Following his trade to the OKC Thunder before the 2017-18 season, Paul George defied expectations and silenced his doubters. He showcased his All-Star caliber play during his two-year tenure in Oklahoma City and continued to excel after joining the LA Clippers, earning All-Star selections three times within five seasons with the team.
