Announcers in disbelief as foul non-call from referee leads to Dillon Brooks and Ime Udoka ejections, call it trash.

Dillon Brooks, the Houston Rockets defensive ace along with his head coach Ime Udoka were ejected in today’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks. This is the second ejection for Udoka following his altercation with LeBron James earlier. The play which got both ejected, was shockingly in favor of the Houston Rockets.
While trying to contain the Bucks in their half in the game’s final minute, Brooks intercepted a pass from Khris Middleton. Brooks then leaped to keep the ball in bounds, only to be seemingly pushed from behind by Middleton. As the Bucks recovered the ball, Brooks argued with referee Suyash Mehta for not calling the foul on Middleton. Mehta then hit Brooks with a technical foul, presumably for flopping. The Rockets announcer watching the play called out;
No foul, you kiddin' me, and then you gotta tech him up, he got pushed out of bounds.
He continued:
That's trash man, that's Disgusting.
The Rockets announcers were shocked by the way the technical foul was issued to Brooks without considering the foul by Middleton.
Dillon Brooks, flamed by the technical, started following Mehta and continued to argue. That is when Mehta hit Brooks with a second technical and ejected him. Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka came off the bench and started arguing with Mehta about the non-call and ejection of Brooks. Udoka was ejected immediately by Mehta after that.
Had the referees reviewed the original play before issuing the second technical to Brooks, things might not have gone that bad for the Rockets. The Milwaukee Bucks were winning the game. But the Rockets wanted to try till the end.
How the season is unfolding for the Rockets
The game between the Houston Rockets and the Milwaukee Bucks was a one-sided affair from the third quarter onwards. The Rockets eventually lost to the Bucks 119-128. Before getting ejected, Brooks had 18 points and 4 rebounds. Fred VanVleet led the Rockets with 22 points and 6 assists. Damian Lillard led the Bucks with 39 points, 11 assists and 5 rebounds.
The Houston Rockets have turned around their season behind the mentality instilled by Ime Udoka. Last season, the Rockets were one of the worst teams in the NBA. They are in the playoff hunt now. That is a massive turnaround for any team without adding any major star players other than Fred VanVleet and Brooks.
The dogged mentality seems to be helping the Rockets in the way they play. The ejections might not have impacted the outcome of this game. But for the coach to stand up for his team, it will bode well for the future of the Rockets.
