REVEALED: Darvin Ham, Lakers’ lineup plan after Dennis Schroder and Patrick Beverley additions

Los Angeles Lakers traded in and welcomed back their German Guard – Dennis Schroder. Clearly indicating that they have made it a point to build a strong roster for the upcoming 202-2023 season. The purple and gold army had a disastrous last season, wherein they couldn’t even make it to the playoffs.

NBA insider Marc Stein recently tweeted the possible LA Lakers line-up for the new season with Patrick Beverley as well. His sources have told him that the Lakers are expected to begin their training camp, starting around 27th September, with Westbrook and Schroder as lead guards. Patrick Beverley and Kendrick Nunn as second guards. Austin Reaves will make a move to small forward behind marquee LeBron James.

It will be interesting to see how things work out for the LA Lakers if this is said to be their starting line-up. The Lakers have plenty of guard players now, and it will be a challenging question when to use them and how with the new season just around the corner. The Lakers were marred by injuries last season; hence they have managed to have a deep roster this time in case any player gets injured. The Purple and Gold team can give their opponents a tough time.

Vice President of Basketball Operations and General Manager of Los Angeles Lakers Rob Pelinka broke out the news that the Lakers have signed guard Dennis Schroder for a one-year deal. The terms of the agreement were not released as per the team’s policy. Pelinka said, “Not only do Dennis and Coach Ham share a player-coach history together, but they also reflect one another’s mentality of toughness with an extremely competitive edge. Dennis will add both depth and an on-ball defensive presence to our core at the guard position. He is also a proven scorer and playmaker. We are really excited for Dennis to get to camp and get back to work in L.A. after his highly successful run with his national team this offseason.”

He added, “We are extremely pleased to welcome Dennis Schroder back to the Lakers.” Schroder has been a part of the NBA for the last nine years.
