Stephen Curry has one of the best resumes in the entire world when it comes to sport of basketball. He is undoubtedly the greatest shooter of all time and holds the record for the most three-pointers made in NBA history. The player recently won his fourth title after leading the Golden State Warriors through a very successful playoff run.
During his off-season, the Chef spends time playing golf and entertaining his social media followers. He recently took part in the American Century Championship which is a golfing tournament for celebrities all over the country. Curry finished 16th among all the participant and his brother Seth Curry placed right behind him.
Former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey throws shade over Stephen Curry
Stephen Curry is a widely beloved personality in the sports community. He also uses his platform to entertain his followers and fans. While the world was slowly coping with the dangers of the pandemic, he hosted a Stay-At-Home athlete accolade which included YouTuber Kristopher London, MMA phenom Ronda Rousey, DeAndre Jordan and many others.
London had fired shots directly at Rousey saying, “Look Ronda, we are not throwing people in the ring. We’re throwing laundry into a hamper. You know what I’m saying, all that swish.” Rousey was quick to attack for the YouTuber saying, “I really just want to beat basketball player Kris London at this, because it’s basically his whole mission of life. Your entire mission in life is to put balls in the basket, sounds f***ing stupid.” This may not have been appreciated by Curry as he also is a basketball player.
Ronda Rousey and Stephen Curry were Sportsman of the Year candidates
Ronda Rousey was the biggest female MMA talent when he stormed the UFC going undefeated for a long time. She became the first ever female champion in the promotion as well. Rousey eventually lost to Holly Holm and was stripped of her reign as Women’s Bantamweight Champion.
She lost her second straight fight via TKO from Amanda Nunes and shifted her talents the World Wrestling Entertainment and the silver screen. But Stephen Curry and the former women’s champ were always on good terms. In 2015, the two were finalists for the Sportsman of the Year award by Sport Illustrated.
