Scottie Barnes
Scottie Barnes has been one of the most important players for the Toronto Raptors as they turned their season around this year and got a spot in the playoffs. They are going all in and against of the Philadelphia 76ers in the first-round series of the playoffs. Scottie Barnes winning the Rookie Of The Year Award has also brought in some vibes and hyped up the locker room. It almost looked like the Raptors are going to be swept in the first-round series as the Joel Embiid and James Harden-led Philadelphia 76era took a 3-0 lead. But things are back on track for the Toronto Raptors as winning two games straight they have now forced a Game 6 and have good chances of getting to play Game 7 too. As they have the talent and potential to win it all and get the job done while coming back from 0-3.
In Game 1, Scottie Barnes injured his left ankle as a contested play had Joel Embiid the biggest guy on the floor standing on his left ankle. He was soon helped to the locker room and ruled out of Game 1. The injury and its effect is still there but he decides to not give up on his team and suites up for them with an injury for Game 4 and Game 5. He came off the bench and made a difference while getting the job done as the Raptors won both of those games and now have a great chance to advance but still the lead is on the Philadelphia 76ers’ side. Most of the credits for this series and their comeback surely goes to Scottie Barnes as he is the Rookie Of The Year for some reasons.
Recently, Scottie Barnes made it to the headlines as a clip from his interview showcasing his toughness and great mentality stands viral all over the internet. Scottie Barnes on his injury and the do-or-die situation
Scottie Barnes discussing the playoffs quoted: “Every game really matters, really counts. Every possession. The atmosphere is just crazy. You just really have to really try to execute and be perfect on it.” Further speaking about his ankle injury before the Game 6 he adding to his take quoted: “I feel great. My body feels great.
