Many believe that Lamar Odom could have continued in the NBA for some years if it wasn’t for his addiction to cocaine and drugs. However, after his game was evidently affected in the latter years, it seemed like Odom finally found the love he needs by being alongside Sabrina Parr.
After having near-to-death complications in 2015, Lamar Odom came out of the addiction over drugs for the last 6 years and has been relatively clean ever since. But having found love with Sabrina Parr. Odom even went onto propose Parr in 20202 and the couple was all set to marry in November 2021. But things went haywire quickly after his proposal, as the duo called off their engagement.

Sabrina Parr called off engagement with Lamar Odom
“Ya’ll know how I’m honest and transparent so I have to be the first to let you guys know that I am no longer engaged to Lamar. I love him dearly but I am no longer able to be by his side while he seeks the help he so desperately needs. I wish him all the best and I am asking that you pray for everyone involved.”
Since she hadn’t expanded about the ‘help’ Odom required, there were high possibilities about what Parr stated. One of which could’ve been, Odom may have had a relapse on his drug addiction, making it necessary for him to undergo another rehabilitation program. The other would be to ascribe this to a mental health condition, which looks the likelier scenario in the scheme of things
That being said, Lamar Odom, ever since his engagement was called off seems to have fond a fascination to get back with his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian. But given that the latter might have lost all her interest in him, Odom still seems to be looking for his ‘true love’. But as things stand, it does look like his love-life is as bad as his later years of the NBA career. Will we ever see the former Laker being married again? Remains to be seen.
