As Scottie Pippen Jr is all set to join the King at Los Angeles Lakers, providing the same blood on the NBA court.
To those who are not aware Scottie Pippen Jr has agreed to represent the most dynamic Los Angeles Lakers after the 2022 NBA Draft Day. While many still don’t know the scoring prowess of the youngster, yet it is indeed safe to assume that he will already be having a lot of eyeballs on him, stepping out on the court. Especially when he is playing alongside LeBron James, the other GOAT contender.
Scottie Pippen Jr joins LA Lakers
A lot of NBA fans think that LeBron James, Lakers have signed Scottie Pippen Jr based on the family he is coming out off, but who knows what the youngster can bring to the table.
With the likes of LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis already present on the court, Scottie Pippen Jr will be emphasising upon his prowess on one-end of the floor. But what he brings to the star-studded pact, will be interesting to see.
To those who are not aware, after acquiring MSU guard Max Christie with the 35th pick in the 2022 NBA draft, the LA Lakers turned their attention to the undrafted rookie free agent market. One of the undrafted rookies they signed was Scotty Pippen Jr., a guard out of Vanderbilt University. Pippen played his high school ball at Sierra Canyon School, a private school in the San Fernando Valley. There, he played alongside Kenyon Martin Jr., the son of former NBA player Kenyon Martin, who now plays for the Houston Rockets.
Scottie Pippen Jr ended up becoming a four-star recruit, and he received scholarship offers to five schools, but ultimately decided on Vanderbilt. Talking about more of his precise stats, he recorded 20.4 points, 4.5 assists and 1.9 steals per game while playing for head coach Jerry Stackhouse.
