“This motherf**ker has counter for everything!” Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has ‘zero holes’ in his game, according to JJ Reddick
JJ Redick looks forward to watching Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the playoffs, as he praised the 25-year-old's progress.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and JJ Redick
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder have been dominating in the West, as they stand second in the conference. Led by SGA, the Thunder have a record of 49-21.
Not only that, but the Thunder haven’t lost more than two straight games so far into the season. The captain of the ship all along has been Shai, having had one of the best seasons of his career.

SGA’s game has improved drastically. His consistency has only improved throughout the years and is now at an all-time high. JJ Redick praised Shai’s offensive talent and how he has developed from being a scorer to now being a leader.
SGA has also seen a drastic improvement in his shooting efficiency. The 25-year-old can make his shots and create more opportunities for his teammates.
I am so fascinated and intrigued by how he is going to play in the playoffs. Because I think one of the key developments to his offensive game has been the development of the counter. This mother****** has a counter for everything now. And we talk all the time about players with no holes in their game. I don't think Shai has a hole in his game. He's hitting threes now, at roughly 38%. His off the dribble game, mid-range.Said Redick
Shai has had two playoff appearances, with the first one being in his rookie year with the Clippers. Being the leader this time, it will be interesting to see SGA perform in the postseason. The OKC Thunder are currently in a battle with the Timberwolves and the Nuggets to make the first seed.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander might just have had the best season of his career
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is ranked second in the MVP race. He is joined by former MVPs as well as players just like him. If Shai manages to make a deep playoff run this season, his chances of becoming an MVP will only increase.
Of course, this will be subject to Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s progress in the postseason. The Thunder have teams like the Nuggets, the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Los Angeles Clippers to look out for in the playoffs.
Shai is averaging 30.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 6.3 assists while shooting over 54% from the field. It will take a lot of work to make it past the second round.
The West is highly competitive among the top five teams. The Thunder, on the other hand, are on the verge of having the best since 2016. It is only fair to wonder how far SGA can lead the Thunder.
