Jimmy Butler and Shakira are the new fan-favorite couple in the town. For the past months, the rumors were hinting at ‘Himmy Buckets’ being paired up with the ‘Queen of Latin Music.’ And, surprisingly those were right as Butler and Shakira are really seeing each other and keeping their relationship low-key and private. So far none of the celebrities has confirmed on their status or even commented about it.

Recently, Jimmy Butler and Shakira were spotted on a date night enjoying their time together, while having dinner at Novikov Restaurant and Bar. The Miami Heat superstar is 33 years old, while the Colombian singer is 46 years old. And, as per reports, Shakira is “unbothered” by the 13-year age difference they have. Also, at the moment they are just exploring their relationship together.

A source close to the couple told The Mirror: “They have been out a few times, but things are very new and it’s too early to tell if there’s long-term potential there.” Also, Shakira has two sons, and both of them are big Jimmy Butler fans as they have been seen donning his jersey while supporting Miami Heat.

Not many would have expected Jimmy Butler and Shakira to be paired up. The singer was present at many Miami Heat games during their playoff run last season. The dating rumors sparked when they started following each other on Instagram. And, now we know that all of those were true.

After Shakira’s split with soccer star Gerard Pique, she shifted to Miami with her two boys. And, months ago was in the headlines as dating rumors between her and Lewis Hamilton sparked. She was also paired up with Tom Cruise for a while but all of those were limited to just friendships as they were spotted together. As she now is dating Jimmy Butler.

Jimmy Butler also keeps his personal life very private. He has a daughter with his longtime ex-girlfriend Kaitlin Nowak and there were no signs or reports of them splitting up. But now since he’s seeing Shakira it’s fair to say that he broke up with her. The internet hopes Jimmy and Shakira, “Shimmy” works their way out and can be a happy and lovely couple.
