Since the beginning of the 2021-22 season, DeMar DeRozan seems to have returned to his veteran best ever since he joined the iconic Chicago Bulls. In a team which was newly designed, DeRozan successfully took the marquee role from Zach LaVine to win clutch games for his team. Now when the Bulls are head-locked in a tough first-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks, it was the veteran who once again stood tall to equalize the series. 

The Chicago Bulls lost Game 1 to Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks. However, come Game 2, DeMar DeRozan took center stage with his elite 41-point performance. As a result of which Undisputed host Shannon Sharpe could not hold himself back from applauding the worthy expect. With the winner of this particular series being tough toc all, Sharpe feels DeRozan could play a huge role as things now move to a different court.

Sharpe stated, “DeMar DeRozan had the game that everybody thought Kevin Durant was going to have. He killed Giannis last night. It’s like his eyes got bigger every time he see Giannis Antetokounmpo. That’s Giannis. That’s the defensive player of the year. He’s like ‘I don’t care. I can get my shot. I’m going to get to my spot.’”

DeMar has been averaging 27.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists in the 2021-22 season. Moreover in Game 2 Nikola Vucevic and Zach LaVine combined for 44 points as well. Now, with Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis on potential injury list for the Bucks, Bulls would be hoping to take full advantage of this situation.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been in the form of a lifetime once again, yet with no Middleton on his side for Game 3, DeMar could have a worthy saw in Game 3 to swing the advantage in the favor of his team.
