Sports analyst on Fox, Shannon Sharpe had an altercation with Dillion Brooks and the entire Memphis Grizzlies roster at the end of halftime. There were some strong words exchanged between both parties as the security personnel was trying to separate them. The video shows that Sharpe apparently said something to Brooks and the furious Grizzlies star kept saying it while he walked off the court. Teem Morant, the father of Ja Morant also got involved in the mess, and he also exchanged some apparent aggressive words with the former NFL star. Shannon didn’t stop there as he continued his trash-talking afterward. He later told ESPN reporter Dave McMenamin that nobody had the guts to come and face his smoke. “They didn’t want this smoke, Dave,” Sharpe told ESPN. “They do all that talking and jockeying and I ain’t about that jockeying. It started with Dillon Brooks. I said he was too small to guard LeBron,” said the former football star.
The Hall of Fame football player said that there were some swear words exchanged between the parties, but he also assured that none of them would have wanted a problem with him. “He said, ‘F***’ me. I said, ‘F*** you’ back. He started to come at me and I said, ‘You don’t want these problems,’” Sharpe cleared. He also added that both Morants also came at him during the altercation. “Ja came out of nowhere talking. He definitely didn’t want these problems. Then the dad came…I wanted anything they had. Don’t let these fools fool you now,” Shannon said.
