When the Memphis Grizzlies locked horns against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first-round series at their home court, many expected Jaren Jackson Jr and Ja Morant to have a powerful impact. However, the reality was quite the opposite as Anthony Edwards and D’Angelo Russell went onto secure a shocking victory for the 7th seeded team in the Western Conference.

Ahead of Game 2, sports media personality Shannon SHarpe has gone onto warn the Grizzlies and Ja Morant of the threat that Timberwolves could impose if they take matters on a lighter note. Securing an away win has surely put Grizzlies under pressure, but Ja Morant recently posted a clip from the Last Dance, indicating that his team could very well bounce back from the setback. Upon which Sharpe had an opinion to frame.

Discussing Morant posting a clip of Michael Jordan from Last Dance, Shannon Sharpe opinionated, “If you think the Timberwolves are going to go away by you posting this Last Dance video, you’re wrong. They’re coming…Don’t slip up and let them win another game on your home court.”

The Timberwolves will be filled with confidence, especially after winning Game 1 and keeping majority of the Grizzlies scorer quiet in the last quarter. Moreover, with the likes of Edwards and KAT attacking the paint, Ja Morant will be required majorly on the defensive end alongside Jackson Jr.

Lastly the threat of D’Angelo Russell and Patrick Beverley cannot be overlooked on either ends of the court. But with the force Grizzlies have assembled since the beginning of 2021-22 season, all they require is their marquee player to lead the proceedings.
