“People messing with Draymond…mind your f**king business” – Shaquille O’Neal believes winning a championship only went to boost Jordan Poole’s ego

While almost the entire NBA fraternity criticized Draymond Green for punching Jordan Poole, Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal has sided with the former for his actions and explains why things got to that level.
Draymond Green punching Jordan Poole did not turn out to be the problem Golden State Warriors wanted at their hands. It is never a good look when teammates fight each other, it is worse when a youngster on the team gets dropped to the floor with a punch thrown by a leader like Draymond Green.
Shaquille O’Neal, former Lakers superstar explains how Green might have had to check Poole’s ego following the championship season. More than often players come back with a different level of ego and confidence when they get their hands on that NBA championship ring.
O’Neal who has four rings for himself, explains how fans don’t know what they’re talking about while criticizing Green. “All you people messing with Draymond? Mind your damn business,” said O’Neal on The Big Podcast recently.
“I know the game is a nice game and we should get along but you guys that don’t know about competitive sport, have no idea what you’re talking about. Just shut the hell up and be a fan,” added the Lakers legend. O’Neal himself is infamous for his ego clash with legendary NBA player, Kobe Bryant during their time at the Lakers.
Shaquille O’Neal believes only three players on the Warriors have the pecking order status
According O’Neal, he believes that in the absence of Klay Thompson, one of the stars from the Warrior trio, Jordan Poole might be looking to take his spot. But as long as the veteran trio is intact, O’Neal believes no one else on the team will get to change the pecking order.
“I think when you win championships, the others come back, they come back different,” said Shaquille O’Neal on the podcast. “Jordan Poole definitely played a big part in them winning. I think a lot of times those people tried to check the pecking order status. The pecking order status for that belongs to three peple: Draymond, Klay, and Steph,” said the Lakers legend.
Shaquille O’Neal has said that after the recent NBA champinoship, Warriors with the Steph Curry – Klay Thompson – Draymond Green era can officially be called as a dynasty.
