Clearly a millionaire, Shaquille O’Neal may become a billionaire very soon. But we don’t think that should really come as a surprise to you. The same man made the decision to purchase a 70-foot mechanical dinosaur that can move about and sip water from his lake before reabsorbing it.

He often makes investments at a level of wisdom that is only matched by seasoned stock market professionals. But occasionally, he may choose to stray a little from the pack. We are discussing a man who purchased an entire hookah bar so to have something to do after his Inside the NBA shootings. Strangely, even that doesn’t begin to convey the extent of this man’s wealth.

In a recent episode of the KJ Show Shaquille O’Neal shocked everyone with one of his most recent purchases which is bizarre at the very least. He said “I just bought a 70ft dinosaur that moves and drinks water from lakes and throws it back out” upon hearing which the presenters were obviously shocked with what they just heard and were seen laughing hysterically.

However, this not the first time Shaquille O’Neal has made headlines for purchasing something so unique yet so bizarre. In 2018, he invested $400,000 to have this treehouse built from the TV series Treehouse Masters. There is a poker table, bar, and dartboard inside, as well as a 9-foot door. For $1.7 million, Shaquille O’Neal acquired a Pershing 72 yacht. It contains a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, crew quarters, an engine room, three bathrooms, and many more opulent amenities.

Shaq has a 36,000 square foot lakeside property in Orlando, Florida. It contains a garage, a basketball court, 12 bedrooms, and 11 bathrooms. The building was around $16.5 million. He has invested a lot of money in several companies. Among other things, he owns 150 automobiles, a movie theatre, a Big Chicken, and 40 24-hour gyms. He sold 155 of his Five Guys stores to open Shaquille’s, his own eatery.

But however, in of his such shopping frees he caused panic in of his credit card companies, back in 2008, when Shaquille O’Neal was transferred from the Miami Heat to the Phoenix Suns, a shopping trip took place. The now-50-year-old basketball legend quickly became aware that his lodgings were inadequate upon landing in Arizona for the first time following a late-night trip.

“I’m the type of guy, I have no patience,” he says in the clip. “So, when I get to Phoenix, they have an apartment for me, [but] nothing’s in it.  This is when Shaq spent $70,000 on five TVs, printers, computers, appliances, linens, and even underwear when he went to Walmart at 3 in the morning. The issue is that his card was denied when he reached the checkout and then declined again.

In the video, he adds, “Now I’m saying, I know I’m not broke.” So, I just responded, “Alright, I’ll be back,” to the cashier. At that point, American Express security phoned him to inform him that a “thief” was using his credit card to go on a Walmart buying spree. Security asked Shaq what we are all thinking: “What the heck are you purchasing for $70,000 at Walmart?” after Shaquille O’Neal admitted that he was the alleged thief.
