Kenny Smith came up with the new nickname as he got his foot hurt by Charles Barkley. So he quoted him as “300 pounds of greatness”. Chuck disagreed with the number as he debated him weighing lower while Shaquille O’Neal took it up to 350 pounds and even provided the crew with evidence as he said he saw peanut butter and jelly all the time in the locker room.
Charles Barkley didn’t really took the nickname to his heart as even he enjoyed the exchange going on in the studio after discussing an intense playoffs battle. He even knew he’ll get a lot of chances to revenge on them as he already tops the list of roasting his friends.
