Joel Embiid has been in absolute blazing form this season and there is no doubt he will be a strong contender for the MVP title. Top on the list for points per game (34.6) and top 5 for rebounds per game (11.8). It was only a matter of time before people would start singing his praises regularly, comparing him to some of the game’s greats.

In Embiid’s case, it’s a tough one – Shaquille O’Neal. But Gilbert Arenas feels otherwise when it comes to comparison. In a Gil’s Arena interview, during the discussions about the comparison of Shaquille O’Neal and Joel Embiid, Arenas had a strong argument:
