The Sacramento Kings have been lurking among the bottom teams of the league for a while now. Despite having a young group of very capable players, what they lack the most seems to be motivation to win in general. They have shown a little growth over the years but it is not enough.
Last season, they finished as the 12th seed with 30 wins and 52 losses. They went ahead with a trade mid season that got them All-Star Domantas Sabonis who is an above average two way player. They also acquired Jeremy Lamb is a good shooter if the ball averaging 40.3% from the field, and 34.2% shooting from the three-point arc overall. This will add more depth the their team.

“Every team has the chance to make the Finals. Depends on your star two players and depends on the others. They haven’t made the playoffs in a long time. That should be their motivation. You gotta have steps, right? So, Sacramento, you haven’t been to Playoffs. Let’s put together a good enough run to make the playoffs. Let’s just build that.”
