WATCH: Shaquille O’Neal’s hilarious ‘dougie’ dance move at work revealed by Taylor Rooks
DJ Diesel is a much better dancer
Shaquille O'Neal
The Diesel, Shaquille O’Neal is living his best life following retirement. O’Neal is one of the richest retired athletes and the former four-time champ loves his current job. Hosting NBA on TNT alongside the Crew, Shaq has his fun behind the scenes as well. Not only is the beast hosting the show, but he also invests a lot of time in his hobbies.
O’Neal’s discography is well-known among his fans. His DJ name, DJ Diesel first came out in 2015 and has been famous ever since. He has also performed in front of thousands at music festivals. Apart from that, Shaq is also a pretty good dancer. Not a lot of his fans know this, but O’Neal can break some dance moves as perfectly as he can mix beats. Recently, Taylor Rooks shared a video on Twitter with Shaq breaking down some smooth dance moves in it.
O’Neal definitely has some serious dance moves, being a very open and fun human being. While the big guy never really shows off his dance moves these days, Shaq has a history of breaking down moves along with professional dancers.
Shaquille O’Neal once brought out the Jabbawockeez
During the 2009 All-Star Introduction, Shaquille O’Neal made one of the most memorable entrances in the history of All-Star. The Diesel danced with a crew of Jabbawockeez, showing off his hip-hop moves. The dance crew is known worldwide, and for Shaq to bring them for his All-Star introduction was truly a memorable All-Star moment.
A couple of years before the same, O’Neal participated in a dance-off with LeBron James and Dwight Howard. It’s safe to say that O’Neal would’ve had a career in choreography if not in basketball. The beast has made a fortune through his basketball career, though it wouldn’t hurt to kickstart in choreography at this point of his life. O’Neal knows his way around basic break dance and some classic hip-hop dance moves.
It’s great to see O’Neal break some cool dance moves now and then. However, it would be more fun if he were to upload the same on his social media. It will be interesting to see whether Shaq ever goes on to show off his talents on a big stage. DJ Diesel will definitely perform at festivals in the future, and fans might just see him show off his underrated hip-hop moves.
