Back in June 2015, O’Neal surprised everyone. On his website, he made the controversial claim that the 9/11 attacks might have been an “inside job”. The post strongly questioned the official narrative surrounding the tragic event that shocked the nation, casting doubts on the materials used in the construction of the World Trade Center and the way that Flight 175 hit the south tower.

Shaq, known for his huge height and basketball skills, was suddenly also known as someone who believed in the controversial theories of the 9/11 “Truther” group. This group doubts the common story of the 9/11 attacks. Shaq even shared this post on his Facebook page, asking his followers to think twice about what really happened.
