He confidently predicted that the Lakers would win by a 50-point margin while making clear that his remarks were not meant to criticise specific players like Scottie Pippen or Dennis Rodman. Pippen, though, personalised the conflict by saying, “Shaq, I don’t believe in hypotheticals.”
