Shaquille O’Neal has been on a constant grind to get his health on the right track. What drives his attitude toward success is his desire to be an example to the people around him. This was one of the biggest reasons the big man had troubles at the end of his incredibly successful NBA career.

The former Los Angeles Lakers legend has been sharing his fitness progress on social media for a while now. On a recent episode of The Big Podcast, Shaq revealed how a chilling phone call changed his mind about working out more often. He said, “I called the guy. He did my blood work and he said, ‘Yeah, you ain’t living right. If you keep this up, you’re not gonna be around long.

He further continued, “So I said, ‘Okay, what I gotta do?’ At first, it was hard but now I’m starting to eat right and workout every day and do that.” He claims to have lost a lot of weight since that bone-chilling phone call from a dietitian of some sort. He also revealed his plan on becoming 345 lbs by March 2023.

This is not the first time Shaquille O’Neal has offered intel on his lifestyle. He tries to limit his diet to tiny portions throughout the day which includes smoothies, fruits, and sometimes only vegetables. Diesel was a very agile center during his early days which baffled the masses due to his size and weight. Seems like he wants to get back his NBA body.
