“The Prince of Thotlandia” Shaquille O’Neal shocks the NBA world with his RIPPED physique
Shaquille O'Neal
Shaquille O’Neal has been a big advocate for individual well being whether it is mentally or physically. He has been an inspiration to several people around him for his relentless work ethic and perseverance to be in the best situation of his life. The Big Aristotle has taken his health very seriously too.
Shaq once revealed how important it was for him to stay fit and healthy all the time. Being as big of a man as he is, people may assume he has a large diet filled with items of the highest calories. But in reality, the Hall of Famer’s meals are very small and packed with necessary nutrients for the body.
He recently uploaded a video on Instagram of him working out and let us just say he looks ripped. He went on to do a couple of body-building poses that flexed his biceps, traps, triceps, and a lot more. And to top it all off, it looks like Shaq is well on his way to becoming chiseled.
The 50-year-old legend has his fair share of battles with various health-related issues such as sleep apnea. So it is only smart of him to take a healthy step toward a better lifestyle. This is one of the only times Shaquille O’Neal has gone public about his progress and fans were left shocked at what they saw.
Shaquille O’Neal’s weight ruined his career in the NBA
The former No.1 Overall pick was a freak athlete. The agility he had as a 7″1 footer had everybody scurrying for safety while he was on the court. For a man who weighed 300 pounds, he was very quick and moved swiftly. This made him a very dominant center and arguably the greatest ever.
But soon Shaquille O’Neal struggled to maintain a healthy lifestyle and eventually gained weight over time. By the time he signed contracts with the Phoenix Suns and the Boston Celtics, Shaq went from averaging 20 points to as low as 9.2 points per game. He decided to hang up his jersey in 2011 after one season with the Celtics thus concluding one of the greatest careers ever.
