SHOCKING new details about Kysre Gondrezick injuries after Kevin Porter Jr.’s alleged assault emerge

Kevin Porter Jr. has recently been arrested for assaulting his girlfriend in New York. There have been some shocking reports regarding the injuries Kysre Gondrezick has received. Houston Rockets guard Porter was arrested on felony charges of assault and strangulation after the incident at the Millenium Hotel in Times Square. Gonrezick was taken to a hospital for evaluation and care, where her injuries were analyzed and reported. Prosecutors revealed that Gondrezick suffered a fractured neck vertebra and a cut above her right eye.

An NYPD spokesperson said, “A preliminary investigation on scene determined that a known individual struck her multiple times upon her body and placed his hands around her neck.” Porter has been ordered to stay away from Gondrezick. The Rockets released a statement this week saying the organization is “in the process of gathering information and had no further comment.”

Gondrezick’s family was rightfully outraged after the incident, and her sister went after Porter. Taking to Instagram, Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins put up a story saying, “If you think you gonna touch my sister and not get touched, count your f—ing days. Better hope and pray you’ll be able ever walk again let alone dribble. You may have gotten away with this sh-t in the past cause yo mamma ain’t beat your a– but we spank little punk painting nail sissy b–ches like you everyday. Don’t show up to the crib. We gone do it to you, little b–ch.”

Porter is currently coming off his best season as a star for the Rockets, averaging 19.2 points per game, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.7 assists. His girlfriend is also a WNBA player, currently out of the league for the past two seasons as a free agent. She played college basketball in Michigan and West Virginia. She was selected 4th overall in the 2021 draft by Indiana and played only one season before being waived. She has currently been out of the league for two seasons and remains a free agent.

What took place between Kevin Porter Jr. and his girlfriend?

Porter is currently in very hot waters, facing counts of strangulation and assault. He is currently in the custody of the NYPD. Police responded to a 911 call at around 6:45 a.m. from the Millenium Hotel. Apparently, Porter returned to his hotel room early Monday morning after spending the entire evening out. This upset his girlfriend, causing her to lock the door. Once Porter managed to get into the room with the help of hotel security, he assaulted Gondrezick.

According to the league’s domestic violence policy, Commissioner Adam Silver has the authority to put Kevin Porter Jr. on paid administrative leave for “a reasonable period of time.” Porter had signed a non-guaranteed extension with the Rockets, given his past run-ins with the law. Porter has previously been arrested on weapon charges in 2020 when he was in Ohio. He was let free, as the grand jury declined to indict him.

In 2022, he signed an extension with the franchise spanning four years and worth $ 82.5 M. However, the Rockets knew about his character and had taken the necessary precautions. Only $15.8 million of his four-year, $63.4 million contract is guaranteed to him. Additionally, there are provisions that might let the Rockets end his contract early without having to compensate him significantly. The majority of his salary is guaranteed for this season, but his contract for 2024–2025 is only partially guaranteed, and 2025–2026 is not.
