Skip Bayless ASSERSTS Ja Morant’s strip club slip-up wouldn’t have happened if there wouldn’t have been any gun controversy from his end

Skip Bayless feels no one would be talking about Ja Morant at all if he did not whip out the gun at the strip club despite the leaked videos

Skip Bayless ASSERSTS Ja Morant’s strip club slip-up wouldn’t have happened if there wouldn’t have been any gun controversy from his end

Ja Morant

Skip Bayless feels sad about Ja Morants financial losses following the gun scandal but claims it could have all been avoided. “He drew the spotlight on himself because he goes on IG live and dangles a gun,” said Skip Bayless on his show Undisputed. Bayless feels nobody would even be talking about Ja Morant if he had not taken out his gun.

Ja Morant had signed a multi-million dollar deal with Powerade days before the video was uploaded, and Powerade has since pulled the advertisement down. Skip Bayless has no problem that a star like Ja goes to strip clubs as many NBA players do, and it should not affect his career in any way. “I’m willing to bet you several NBA players went to strip clubs last night. No problem with that. We don’t want any gun problems“, said Skip Bayless. Shannon Sharpe agreed with Skip in regards to NBA players’ activities, as he knows such people, being a former NFL athlete himself.

Ja Morant is reportedly taking time away from the court to get the help he needs and has managed to maintain his Nike deal. Bayless praised Ja Morant for being respectful towards the people in the strip club as witnesses inside did not face any problems with Ja. Reports claimed that one girl in the club was terrified when Ja pulled out a gun. “Who wouldn’t be if you’re in the VIP room and suddenly there’s a gun,” said Skip. Ja has apologized for his actions at the strip club and hopes to return to an NBA court soon.

Former NBA stars Gilbert Arenas and Stephen Jackson have come out supporting Ja’s photos claiming he did nothing wrong. Stephen Jackson said that most of the league during his time went to strip clubs and that Ja is only getting heat because of the social media era. 2000s NBA players were known for partying without a worry in their minds, as no cameras followed every move.

Gilbert Arenas went further by calling Ja a philanthropist for donating 50k dollars in tips to the strip club. Morant was seen around a bunch of money on the floor in the video. Arenas said he is helping struggling women in the city with his donations and should be praised for his actions. Ja Morant is no saint, but he is not the devil the way some media outlets are portraying him.

Like many other NBA players, Morant has been going to strip clubs for a long time, and it has never seemingly affected his performances on the court. Like Skip Bayless said, there are no stopping players from going to strip clubs, as there is no problem with that. Ja made a mistake by pulling out his gun and is now suffering the consequences. The Memphis Grizzlies will hope he is learning from his mistakes and is back in time for the postseason.
