Although Philadelphia 76ers are 2-0 against the unpredictable Toronto Raptors in their first-round playoff series, many would not even remember the contribution of James Harden. Having being led by Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid, the Beard once again has started to struggle in establishing his individual best-show. And the same has been pointed out sports media personality Skip Bayless.

In the latest episode of Undisputed, Skip Bayless was in discussion with co-host Shannon Sharpe when they started the conversation upon James Harden. Little did anyone know, the 70-year-old analysts thrashed the former MVP with the ultimate disrespect. Hopefully, it shall reach the ears of James Harden, so that he could improve his performance from Game 3 in Toronto.

Skip Bayless started by confessing his love for youngster Tyrese Maxey and stated, “I love Tyrese Maxey, he was never to be included in the trade that would bring James Harden to Philly. I love his style, love the energy he plays with, he just plays with a flare showcasing he is fearless.”

Then Bayless decided to lash onto James Harden as he believes it is the Beard and Embiid who would ensure a deep run for the team in the playoffs (if they were to make one) and said, “James Harden is starting to look old to me. He’s becoming an old man right before your very eyes.”

Sharpe and Bayless do have a point, Harden was brought into the Philadelphia 76ers on deadline day with the aim of providing the ultimate support to Joel Embiid. But his numbers in the previous 5 games have been disturbing. Moreover, Harden was individually out-scored by Maxey (23), Tobias Harris (20), and Embiid (31). With only 14 points registered against his name in Game 2, Harden should be aware of making his threat felt to the opposition.

Will we see a change in the coming games? Only if Harden gets way too serious in his approach, especially on the offensive end sooner rather than later.
