Skip Bayless has made his way back to the sporting world headlines. The reason isn’t him announcing his partner to debate with on the show, “Undisputed.” Instead, it’s him claiming Charles Barkley to be his dream partner for the debate show. Both Barkley and Bayless over time have developed a relationship of nothing but just pure hate. And, the duo often makes it to the headlines for clowning each other.
Charles Barkley has always been welcoming controversies and saying out loud what he wants to say. Skip Bayless is really one of his special guys. As Chuck never leaves an opportunity to clown the analyst but he always has a reason to do so. But this time it is Bayless getting his revenge by inviting the former NBA superstar to his debate show as his everyday debating partner.
The generational LeBron James hater believes he has found his next partner. But no matter what goes wrong Charles Barkley will never agree to work with Skip Bayless, especially, after his controversial and disappointing remarks on the Damar Hamlin situation. But still, he’s trying his level best to recruit Chuck while taunting him during a monologue of his on his podcast, “The Skip Bayless Show.”
Bayless trying to bring Charles Barkley over quoted: “Charles Barkley would be my dream debate partner on Undisputed. I would dive out of bed every morning out here in Los Angeles at two o’clock in the morning to get to work with Charles. Please, Charles, please come and please work with me, this ‘damn idiot.’ What a joy it would be to do battle every day with Charles Barkley live on television.”
Skip didn’t just end his pitch there and then went on to troll Chuck. As he believes he can record easy dubs while debating against Charles Barkley. He added: “I could semi-retire. I could mail it in. I could, dare I say, actually have a life and forget about prepping so furiously hard. I’d have to do is let Charles go first and listen to him make a fool out of himself…I wouldn’t even have to try. So please, please, please, Charles, come be this damn idiot’s debate partner. Please let me annihilate you on a daily basis. Let me make barbecue chicken out of you.”
Skip Bayless should be appreciated for his efforts but this won’t end the search for the replacement of Shannon Sharpe. Also, Charles Barkley isn’t going to let this slide and will clap back when he gets the opportunity to do so.
Why is Skip Bayless taunting Charles Barkley?
Skip Bayless and Charles Barkley have been beefing for years. Chuck is just not a fan of any hot takes the analyst sends out and he has his own reason behind it. The former NBA player has also casually threatened to kill Skip.
But this time the reason behind Bayless taunting Charles Barkley was some comments made by Chuck during the celebrity golf tournament featuring Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Patrick Mahomes, and Travis Kelce.
Charles Barkley, destroying Skip Bayless on Live TV quoted: “I want one of those jobs where I can get fired [and] get a buyout for working with an idiot.” Bayless responded to this jab with a tweet of his writing: “Still chuckling over a clown calling me an idiot.” This isn’t the only time he has been called an idiot and when everyone thought the back and forth ended there. We have the analyst back and begging to Chuck for joining his show.
