“He has more MAMBA MENTALITY than Jayson Tatum” Skip Bayless believes Jaylen Brown is the ultimate offensive threat to Warriors
Skip Bayless, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum
Jaylen Brown, according to Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless, has shown “more mamba mentality” than his teammate Jayson Tatum. Throughout this playoff run, especially in the NBA Finals, they have attempted to imitate their idol, the late Kobe Bryant’s characteristics.
In his most recent tweet, Bayless implied that Brown has been more efficient and impactful than Tatum throughout the playoffs as the Fox Sports expert has considered Jaylen Brown to be a more major threat, and he has kept to his beliefs.
The Golden State Warriors are Skip Bayless’ pick to win the NBA Finals in 2022, despite the fact that these Boston Celtics players have no prior finals experience, Ime Udoka’s team is giving the Warriors a hard time. The Eastern Conference Champions, led by Tatum and Jaylen Brown, are now 2-2 after a 43 point Steph Curry performance in Game 4 handed them the loss in the best-of-seven NBA Finals series.
Disappointing Game 4 for the young duo despite fair scoring numbers
The Celtics overcame a game-high 31 points from Stephen Curry to grab a 2-1 series lead in front of their home crowd at TD Garden, thanks to a combined 77 points from Brown (27) and Tatum (26). However, blunders and an inability to hold off a fourth-quarter surge by Golden State caused the Celtics a 107-97 loss in Game 4 tying 2-2 of the NBA Finals as they’re now in a best-of-three series, with Game 5 scheduled for Monday night at Golden State.
Despite his 23 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists, Jayson Tatum was disappointed with his performance. Not only he shot 8 of 23 from the field, he was responsible for six of Boston’s 16 turnovers, which led to 19 Golden State points.

Weak performances by Tatum made Skip Bayless suggest that Jaylen Brown has the mamba mentality
“It’s ironic Kobe Bryant took Jayson Tatum under his wing when Jaylen Brown has the Mamba Mentality”, said Bayless in the ‘Undisputed’. During Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Warriors and the Celtics, Bayless had even more reason to expand on his view. Brown scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds while shooting 47.3 percent from the field and Tatum tallied 23 points and 11 rebounds, but only eight of his 23 shots were made, in addition to his game-high six turnovers. Tatum struggled with turnovers and took questionable shots late in the game, which may have contributed to the Celtics losing control of the game.
