Skip Bayless recently made it to the NBA headlines as unexpectedly he was riding good on a LeBron James take. But again we shouldn’t forget that he’s the biggest hater of King James out there and has built himself a legacy doing that. Recently, a video clip of LeBron James and his sons Bryce James and Bronny James went viral all over the internet. As they took over Lakers’ practice facility and showed out the world how good the James family is when it comes to playing basketball. This brought up the question of King James being able to play with both of his sons or not and Skip Bayless without wasting any time of his got into it.
Bronny James will be eligible to get drafted into the league in 2024. While Bryce has got some more years to make his way into the league. That’s a long road but LeBron James obviously has got a plan and that’s to become the first Father-Son duo in the history of basketball. As one dream of his is to share the court with his elder son Bronny James but the hype around Bryce James has the fans confused and want Bron to hoop with him too. Skip Bayless though brought in a Tom Brady comparison like always while talking about LeBron James and his conditioning.
Skip Bayless believes LeBron James can extend his career to hoop with both his sons
Skip Bayless speaking about LeBron James’ longevity and chances of playing with both his sons quoted: “You cannot tell me that LeBron is not inspired by Brady from a distance just watching what he’s doing. … LeBron does have Brady’s commitment to fitness. There’s no burnout on meetings, film study. He loves that, and he gets nutrition. … He’s gonna shatter the mold for how long you can go. And as long as his heart stays in it, is it possible like, distantly possible… that he could get to a point where if they do away with the one-and-dones that he could play with Bronny and Bryce? I wouldn’t put it past that guy.”
Skip Bayless is right with his Tom Brady comparison this time as TB is really a hell of an example when you talking about consistency and longevity in sports. He turned 45 on Wednesday and is still as great as he was during his day 1 and has his prime continued. As he can lead any team to victory at any given time. As speaking on it Skip Bayless said: “He’s going to have a reduced role, and he’s not gonna love it. And I don’t know what you do with him on defense, although he can give you spurts. I believe five years from today, he can give you spurts on defense.” Skip Bayless is a believer and that’s absolutely right as according to the draft rules right now Bryce has got to wait another five years to make it to the league and many see LeBron James still being the face of NBA after five years since he really can. Only eight players have made it to 20 and more seasons in the league, right now Vince Carter holds the record at 22 and King James is surely chasing that one while dominating the league.
